A man was killed after crashing his car.
The crash happened after 11:30 pm, at the intersection of Kentucky Dam Road and Benton Road.
47-year-old Michael Winstead was driving when his car struck a guardrail. The car then left the road and hit an embankment.
He was not wearing a seat belt. Furthermore, police are considering his speed and alcohol use as factors to the crash.
Winstead was pronounced dead at the scene.
