24-year-old Nickolas Grazal was driving a box truck when it went off the road and hit a light pole. Then, the pole fell over and the truck rolled over on its side.

Grazal was found under the influence of some substance. Also, they found marijuana on his person.

He was carried by an ambulance to the hospital.

Louisville – Two EMT’s Injured By Car Crash

For the first time on EMS Appreciation Week, two emergency medical technicians were gravely injured in a crash.

31-year-old Kris Haeberlin and 28-year-old Chris Barrett sustained injuries after their ambulance was struck at I-264. A combative patient had forced the pair to pull over, but shortly, a dump truck rear-ended them.

Both were taken to University Hospital. The two served with Louisville Metro Emergency Medical Services.

Louisville – Pedestrian Killed In Truck Crash ID’d

He has been identified as 59-year-old Leonard Hack. Officials said he died due to multiple blunt force injuries.

The crash happened on Cane Run Road, where Hack was struck by a Ford F150.
