Louisville – Man Arrested After Injuring Officer During Pursuit

A man was arrested after he hit an officer while evading a pursuit.

The incident happened around 5:30 am Sunday.

47-year-old James Rogers tried to escape a traffic stop for a registration violation. As he was fleeing, he hit and injured an officer. He was finally caught after he ran out of gas in Cane Run Road.

Rogers and his passenger were arrested. He was charged with wanton endangerment.

Louisville – Woman Arrested After Crashing Into Three Officers, Injuring Them

A woman was arrested after hitting three police officers with her car.

The incident happened on I-65, before 2 am.

While Officer Jessie King, Officer David Jordan, and Officer Nick Hibbs were responding to an accident, 25-year-old Whitney Brooke Hardin crashed into their cruiser.

The three officers were sent to the hospital due to their injuries.

She was arrested and charged with DUI, assault on a police officer and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container.

Three officers were injured after a DUI collision.

The incident happened around 2 am, November 4 near Brooks Street.

Whitney Hardin crashed into a cruiser, inflicting injuries to three officers. Two of them were sent to University Hospital and the other drove himself to Jewish South.

Hardin was charged with DUI, assault of a police officer and possession of open alcoholic beverage containers in a motorized vehicles.

The crash happened after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Louisville – Cruiser Crashed Into Motorcycle, Both Drivers Injured

A police officer and a driver were sent to the hospital after a cruiser crashed into a motorcycle at Interstate 264.

The officer was driving eastbound around 11:30 a.m. when the officer struck the motorcycle. The cause of the crash is unknown.

Both the officer and the motorcyclist were sent to University of Louisville Hospital for their non-fatal injuries.

Further investigations are ongoing.

Louisville – Man Struck Officer With Car, Shot By Police

Louisville – Police Killed By Crash, People She Pulled Over Will Sue

A police officer’s police cruiser was struck by a semi, killing her. In response, the four people she pulled over will sue the semi’s driver.

The incident happened at Interstate 64 East. Quentin Brady and three others were pulled over in December by Louisville Metro police Detective Deidre Mengedoht due to possibly speeding. Her car was hit when a semi struck into Mengedoht’s squad car, killing her. Consequently, they sued the semi driver, Roger Burdette, and his employer. They claim that he was negligent and his employer did not properly train him.

Also, they said they were injured and suffered emotional trauma.
