Graves County – Three Injured After Car Accident

Three people were injured following a car accident.

The crash happened on I-69 around 6:10 pm.

35-year-old William Boykin, of Mayfield, was driving a small SUV and pulling a car dolly trailer. The trailer started to fishtail and hit a semi, rolling the vehicle over.

Boykin and two passengers were injured. He and another passenger were sent to Jackson Purchase Medical Center. Meanwhile, the other was sent to Baptist Health Paducah.

After an investigation, Boykin was arrested and sent to Graves County Jail for two counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment and 1st degree DUI with an aggravating circumstance.

The accident happened on July 25 around 6:40 am on KY 339.

30-year-old Dustin Black tried to avoid crashing into a deer but ended up overturning his motorcycle.

He was then sent to a nearby medical center for treatment.

Graves County – Woman Killed After Crash

A woman was killed after crashing her car.

The incident happened on Burnetts Chapel Road around 3:30 pm.

76-year-old Glenda Crouch was driving on KY 97 when her car ran off the road and rolled over at Burnetts Chapel Road.

Crouch was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was hospitalized after a crash.

The incident happened around 5:00 pm Monday on KY 58 West. James Ethridge’s car hydroplaned, went off the road, then his a mailbox.

Ethridge was carried to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to get treatment. Meanwhile, his brother Jessie Ethridge, was not injured in the crash.

Graves County – Woman Sent To Hospital After Rollover Crash

A woman was hospitalized after a rollover crash on Kentucky 94.

18-year-old Brandon Glover was driving westbound when his vehicle ran off the road, rolled over, and came to rest on the driver’s side.

His passenger, 17-year-old Olivia Vowell, was carried by a private vehicle to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

Glover himself was not injured.

Graves County – DUI Crash Injured Driver’s Head

A DUI crash injured one man on KY 384.

Cole Burgess was driving northbound when he failed to turn properly at a curve, went off the road, and hit a culvert. Then, it went airborne briefly and stopped in a field.

Burgess was found by police unresponsive with a head injury. He was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital to get medical attention.

Police discovered the odor of alcohol on Burgess. Charges for DUI first aggravated and open alcoholic container are pending.

The 16-year-old girl was driving southbound Thursday morning when her car hydroplaned and crashed. She was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to get her injuries treated.

The driver, Francis Lee, left the road for unknown reasons and hit a bridge railing head-on.
