Perry County – Vehicle Accident Left One Dead, Two Injured

A car accident on KY 463 left one person dead and another injured.

The incident happened on Friday morning last week.

A 2002 GMC Yukon driven by 47-year-old Timmy Coots crashed into a dump truck of 45-year-old Walker Johnson. Then, it hit a 1998 Freightliner dump truck driven by 40-year-old Richard Mitchell.

The Yukon driver, Coots, was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, his two passengers Robert Caudill and Jasmine Cornett, were airlifted to Holston Valley Medical Center to get treatment.

On the other hand, Johnson and Mitchell were not injured.

McCracken County – ID of Man Killed In Truck Crash Released

The identity of a man who was killed in a truck crash has been released.

He was identified as 61-year-old Bryan G. Johnson. He crashed his pickup truck into a semitrailer on I-24, 2:48 pm Saturday.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Johnson’s Ford F-250 stuck under the semi. He was sent to Deaconess Hospital where he later died.

Slemp – Police ID’d Man Killed In Car Crash

A person killed in a car crash has been identified.

He was determined to be 47-year-old Timmy Coots. He was driving his SUV on KY-463 Friday morning when it hit two dump trucks in sequence.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two of his passengers were sent to the hospital but are not expected to survive.

Graves County – Man Killed In Truck And Motorcycle Crash

A man was killed in a motorcycle and truck crash.

The incident happened on US-45 at Fowler Road, around 8:45 am, September 17.

A 2007 GMC pickup truck rammed into the motorcycle of 53-year-old David E. Jones.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further investigations are ongoing.

Danville – Man Dead After Vehicle Crash

A man died following a car crash.

The incident happened around 12:15 am near Stuart Powell Ford and the bypass.

A 2003 GMC truck, driven by 37-year-old Adam V. York, went into the southbound lanes and rolled many times.

York was treated by EMS on the scene before being taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

He was later pronounced deceased.

Paducah – One Dead After Car Accident

One person was killed in a crash.

The incident happened on Interstate 24 around 2:48 pm, September 14.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a white Ford F-250 partially underneath a semi.

The driver of the Ford was airlifted to a regional hospital where he died from his injuries.

Frankfort – One Injured, One Dead In Multi-Vehicle Crash

One was injured and another died following a multi-vehicle crash.

The incident happened on I-65 around 9:15 am Thursday.

Toddrick Fairley was driving a semi when he looked for a bottle on the floor of his truck. While distracted, his truck crashed into 54-year-old Timothy Fagley’s 2014 Subaru Legacy. The semi then hit another semi by 38-year-old Karana Wallace. Consequently, it hit the Toyota transit van of 81-year-old Ira Brockman. Brockman’s vehicle then got crushed in between Wallace’s rig and 45-year-old Lucica Cimpean’s semi.

Fagley was sent to Methodist Hospital to get treatment for his head injuries. Brockman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crofton – Man Arrested After Ramming Four-Wheeler With His Vehicle

A man was arrested after colliding his vehicle into a four-wheeler.

29-year-old Dillion J. Miller was arrested 5 pm Monday on Grapevine Road. Allegedly, he crashed into the four wheeler accidentally, but the victims claimed otherwise. According to them, Miller argued that they were on his property, but they replied that they were on a country road. This led to an argument. Then, the victims started to leave when Miller crashed his vehicle’s passenger side into the four-wheeler.

One of the victims was sent to Jennie Stuart Medical Center to be examined.

Miller was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.

The incident happened on Hazel Road around 7:30 am.

21-year-old Bryce Robert Pope was driving a 2001 Mazda Tribute when it collided head-on with a pickup truck. The impact caused Pope’s vehicle to hit a semi.

Three people in the pickup truck suffered only minor injuries, but Pope was pronounced dead at the scene.
