Lawrenceburg – One Dead, Two Injured After Car Accident

A teen died and two others were injured after a car crash.

The incident happened on Wednesday, 9 am, on US 127.

18-year-old Jill Hurst was killed in a crash after being hit by David Henderson’s car. He was evading police when he crashed into her car. Two others with Hurst were injured but are expected to survive.

David Henderson is facing a number of charges including first-degree assault, DUI and fleeing or evading police.

Paducah – Three Dead After Crashing Stolen Vehicle

Three people died after crashing a stolen vehicle.

The incident happened on Schneidman Road on September 10.

Police received a call around 1 am about a stolen vehicle from a business on Clark’s River Road. They spotted the vehicle on on Jackson Street near Lone Oak Road. In response, police activated their lights and chased the vehicle. The vehicle sped up and the occupants threw items outside. On Schneidman Road, it went airborne and hit a railroad crossing. Then, it hit a tree and a part of a home’s porch.

The three occupants in the vehicle all died. 20-year-old Caleb Puckett and two juveniles were pronounced dead by the McCracken County Coroner.

Lawrenceburg – Female Passenger Sent To Hospital After Police Chase Led To Car Crash

A female passenger was sent to the hospital after a police chase that ended in a car accident.

The incident happened around 11 pm Friday night.

David Henderson was driving under the influence and evading police with a female passenger. He drove from Mercer County, went on to US 127 until he crashed his vehicle into another car at US 62.

The crash injured his passenger. She was sent to the hospital to get treatment.

Meanwhile, Henderson was charged with DUI, evading police, and other charges.

He was detained in the Boyle County Detention Center.

Bell County – Three Arrested After Having Drugs And Children Inside Car

Three were arrested after they were caught with drugs and children inside their car.

They were caught on Cannon Creek Lake Hill Road on Friday, after Johnny Smith was apprehended after speeding with his tail light out. He appeared intoxicated and was not wearing a seat belt. Also, police found a hatchet on center console and two children in the backseat. Worse, they found a crystal substance and pills while searching Smith. He also admitted to taking meth and three or four Hydrocodone.

Smith was with his wife, Pricilla Jones, and Sabrina Margaret Jordan. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia, wanton endangerment, speeding, and other charges. He was taken to the Bell County Detention Center.

McCracken County – Man Killed After Solo Car Crash

A man was killed after crashing his car.

The crash happened after 11:30 pm, at the intersection of Kentucky Dam Road and Benton Road.

47-year-old Michael Winstead was driving when his car struck a guardrail. The car then left the road and hit an embankment.

He was not wearing a seat belt. Furthermore, police are considering his speed and alcohol use as factors to the crash.

Winstead was pronounced dead at the scene.

Joseph Goldsmith was arrested after hitting several cars in a parking lot, speeding, and evading arrest.

Laurel County – Man Arrested After Speeding While High With Child Passenger

A man was arrested after police received a complaint of a car swerving on KY 552.

32-year-old Joshua Lee Baker was driving recklessly while under the influence. Also, he had an 11-year-old girl in the car.

When he was caught, police found him in possession of Suboxone, Alprozolam, Gabapentin, pressed marijuana, THC vapor cartridges, drug paraphernalia, and a 9mm handgun.

Baker was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, wanton endangerment, and possession of a controlled substance along with other charges.

Pikeville – Man Crashed And Died After Police Pursuit

A man died after crashing during a police pursuit in KY-194, Sunday.

Troopers attempted to pull 31-year-old Delelano Henderson for a traffic stop. In response, he rushed to evade the officers. However, he lost control, struck multiple trees, rolled down an embankment, and caught fire. The pursuing trooper tried to rescue Henderson from the flames. Unfortunately, the fire was too hot for him to do so.

Henderson was then pronounced dead at the scene.

Further investigations are ongoing.

Louisville – Two Killed In Solo Motorcycle Crash

Bowling Green – One Injured, Two Arrested After DUI Crash

A woman was injured after an accident on Old Morgantown Road Tuesday night. This lead to the woman and a man being arrested.

Brittany Rager was speeding recklessly while her vehicle’s passenger side front door was open and a 2-year-old was with her. She then collided into a light pole and stopped on a curb.

Later, police found her unconscious in the driver’s seat. She was transported to the Medical Center to get her non-fatal injuries treated.

Worse, they found a handgun in the vehicle which passenger Antonio Rose denied knowing of. Furthermore, the child’s restrained were undone because of the collision.

Consequently, Rager was charged with multiple cases after she was released. The charges include wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property (firearm), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

Meanwhile, Rose was charged with receiving a stolen firearm.
