A driver was injured after a car collision.

The incident happened around 5:55 am Wednesday, on I-65.

A driver pulled over his semi due to his frozen brakes. Then, a car collided into it’s rear.

The driver of the other vehicle was sent to an area hospital.

Investigations are ongoing.

Cadiz – Two Dead, One Injured In Car Crash

Two people died and one was injured after a car accident.

The incident happened around 8:30 pm November 7, at the intersection of US 68 and KY 139.

20-year-old Emily Lyons was driving a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle with 32-year-old Matthew Cook when their car was hit by 56-year-old Jon McGraws’s 2008 GMC Arcadia.

McGraw, Cook, and Lyons were all sent to Trigg County Hospital to get treatment. Unfortunately, Lyons and Cook died later.

Tompkinsville – Woman Dead After Crashing Car Into Truck

A woman died after crashing her car into a truck

The incident happened on KY 163, around 6:24 am, October 25.

52-year-old Melissa Nelson crashed her car into the rear of a dump truck driven by 35-year-old Nicholas Cunningham.

Nelson was declared dead at the scene.

Graves County – Woman Dead After Car And Truck Crash

A woman died after a truck crashed into her car.

The incident happened on 4:55 pm Sunday, at the intersection of Twin Hill Road overpass and KY 301.

22-year-old Lasha Britten was driving slowly as her car was malfunctioning. 52-year-old Rodney Goodwin did now notice her and rear-ended his semi into her car.

Britten was sent to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to get treatment.

A woman had to be hospitalized due to her injuries from a car crash.

The incident happened yesterday, October 21.

45-year-old Erica Lewis was stopped and was about to take a left turn when 40-year-old Alisha Weathers rear-ended her vehicle.

Lewis had to be taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment

Graves County – Two Vehicles Crashed, Injured One

Two vehicles crashed and injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1 pm on KY 303.

18-year-old Andrew Koehn was driving, and the car of 36-year-old Jesus Hernandez Delgado was in front of his. Delgado’s vehicle rear-ended Koehn’s, causing it to leave the road and hit a dirt embankment.

Koehn had to be sent to a hospital to get his leg treated. Meanwhile, Delgado was not injured.

Auburn – Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a vehicle.

The incident happened around 3:15 pm Thursday, on US 68.

70-year-old William Moody was riding his motorcycle when he was hit from behind by 21-year-old Xavier Posey’s Chevrolet Equinox.

Moody was ejected from his bike. He died in a medical center in Bowling Green.

Meanwhile, Posey refused EMS transport, and his passenger, 20-year-old Shannon Bryant, was not injured.

Franklin County – Multiple Vehicle Crash Killed One, Injured Two

A person died and two others suffered injuries after a crash involving multiple vehicles.

The incident happened on I-64 at 5:35 pm Sunday.

A semi driven by 45-year-old Jerry Elder Jr. crashed into the rear of Jeffrey Curtis’ 2012 Jeep Liberty. Then, the Jeep and the semi hit 61-year-old Trina Summers’ 2013 Ford Explorer from behind.

Curtis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, Elder and Summers were sent to Frankfort Regional Medical Center to get treatment. However, Elder was taken to Franklin County Regional Jail, after police determined that the crash was due to Elder’s distracted driving.

He has been charged with manslaughter.

Elizabethtown – One Dead After Five Semis And Two Cars Crashed

A person died after crashing into the back of a semi.

The incident happened around 1 am Friday on I-65.

A passenger car crashed into a semi and bounced into another semi, causing a chain reaction. The accident involved five semi-trucks and two passenger cars in the end.

42-year old Mickey Williams died at the scene. He crashed into the back of a semi as he didn’t notice the pile-up ahead of him.

The passenger in the first car and the one of the truck drivers were sent to University of Louisville hospital, but their names weren’t released.
