Graves County – DUI Crash Injured Driver’s Head

A DUI crash injured one man on KY 384.

Cole Burgess was driving northbound when he failed to turn properly at a curve, went off the road, and hit a culvert. Then, it went airborne briefly and stopped in a field.

Burgess was found by police unresponsive with a head injury. He was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital to get medical attention.

Police discovered the odor of alcohol on Burgess. Charges for DUI first aggravated and open alcoholic container are pending.

A drunk pickup truck driver crashed into an ambulance, injuring two EMS workers, the driver, and the female passenger.

26-year-old Silas Hall has been charged with DUI after crashing into an ambulance. Two EMS workers, the truck driver, and his female passenger have been injured and sent to an area hospital.

Burkesville – Two People Killed IN DUI Crash, Driver Arrested

A driver crashed head-on into a vehicle, killing two people on KY-90. He was then arrested due to driving under the influence.

28-year-old Christian Parrish was under the influence when he crashed his 2012 Nissan into 67-year-old Barbara Arms’ 2000 Ford. Arms and her passenger, 74-year-old Bobby Arms, were dead on the scene.

Parrish sustained minor injuries and was taken to Cumberland County Hospital. Also, he was charged with first-degree driving under the influence and failure to wear a seat belt.

He is being detained at the Adair County Regional Jail.

Marshall County – DUI Driver Injured In Single Car Crash

A driver under the influence crashed and sustained injuried on Eggners Ferry Road.

Police found Kenneth Odom reeking of alcohol with four busted beer cans near him. A breathalyzer test confirmed that he was under the influence.

He was sent to the hospital to get medical treatment. Unfortunately, he was cited first offence because of this.

Louisville – DUI Motorcycle Crash Injured Rider

A motorcyclist was under the influence when he crashed and got injured on Hikes Lane and Bashford Avenue.

The rider struck a curb before crashing. He was injured and sent to the hospital in critical condition.

Glasgow – DUI Crash Injured Two People And A Child

A DUI crash occurred at the intersection of Hollow Road and Lick Branch, injuring two people and a child.

24-year-old Tyler Scott was driving with his passenger, 26-year-old Brooke Pierce, when he failed to stop at the intersection. This caused him to strike another car driven by 61-year-old Mark Reed who had a 4-year-old passenger.

Scott, Reed and the child were sent to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment. They were later discharged.

Also, Scott was charged for DUI and wanton endangerment.

Bowling Green – One Injured, Two Arrested After DUI Crash

A woman was injured after an accident on Old Morgantown Road Tuesday night. This lead to the woman and a man being arrested.

Brittany Rager was speeding recklessly while her vehicle’s passenger side front door was open and a 2-year-old was with her. She then collided into a light pole and stopped on a curb.

Later, police found her unconscious in the driver’s seat. She was transported to the Medical Center to get her non-fatal injuries treated.

Worse, they found a handgun in the vehicle which passenger Antonio Rose denied knowing of. Furthermore, the child’s restrained were undone because of the collision.

Consequently, Rager was charged with multiple cases after she was released. The charges include wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property (firearm), operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, reckless driving, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle.

Meanwhile, Rose was charged with receiving a stolen firearm.

Graves County – Two Injured In Crash, One Fled

A crash at the intersection of KY 303 and KY 94 injured two people who were later arrested. However, one person fled the scene and has not been found.

Around 8 o’clock Monday morning, a paving crew was allowing a van driven by 61-year-old Jeffery Wheeler to pull out of KY 303. This was when a westbound car crashed extremely fast into Wheeler’s van, knocking it off the road, and hitting another vehicle. That was driven by 29-year-old Daniel Boyd who had his 2-year-old daughter with him.

The driver from the first crashed car gathered items from his car and ran southbound of KY 303 on foot into a nearby woods. His two passengers, 32-year-old Samantha Peterman and 44-year-old Brandy Arnett, were sent to the Jackson Purchase Medical Center to get medical attention. However, they were then arrested for 1st degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The escaped driver was identified as 28-year-old Anthony Travis who was wanted by Probation and Parole and has outstanding warrants.

Authorities are on the lookout for Travis.

Lexington – Truck Crashed Into Home, Driver Injured

Around 2:45 a.m., a truck rammed into a home in Lexington.

The crash occurred on on Rebecca Drive, off Tates Creek Road. A woman was sleeping inside the house during the incident but she was not hurt.

However, the driver was passed out in a yard several blocks away. He was sent to the hospital for medical treatment and may be charged with DUI.

Lexington – Motorcyclist Dead After DUI Crash

A motorcyclist died following a crash with a pickup truck near the back gate of Keeneland Race Course.

Allison Rhoads was driving under the influence when she collided into 30-year-old Dustin Makaris’ motorcycle.

He was sent University of Kentucky Medical Center due to his fatal injuries. Unfortunately, he died before 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

Rhoads was arrested and charged with DUI.
