A person was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on KY-30.

The crash blocked one of the lanes leading to Sugar Camp Road.

The deceased victim’s identity has not yet been determined.

Knott County – One Dead After Crashing Into Coal Truck ID’d

The man who was killed in a crash on Highway 80 has been identified.

The man was identified as 50-year-old Danny Kestner of Perry County. He was killed after crashing his car into a loaded coal truck.

While Kestner was killed in the crash, the coal truck driver was unscathed, save for his burnt hair.

The crash is being investigated further.

Pikeville – Man Crashed And Died After Police Pursuit

A man died after crashing during a police pursuit in KY-194, Sunday.

Troopers attempted to pull 31-year-old Delelano Henderson for a traffic stop. In response, he rushed to evade the officers. However, he lost control, struck multiple trees, rolled down an embankment, and caught fire. The pursuing trooper tried to rescue Henderson from the flames. Unfortunately, the fire was too hot for him to do so.

Henderson was then pronounced dead at the scene.

Further investigations are ongoing.

Mayfield – Rear-End Motorcycle Crash Injured One Person

A motorcycle and another vehicle on Paris Road near Hillcrest Drive crashed, injuring a motorcyclist.

On Friday, 82-year-old Dorothy McClellan’s vehicle was behind a line of traffic when 57-year-old Timothy Puckett’s motorcycle rear-ended her.

Puckett was then sent to Jackson Purchase Medical Center to get medical attention.

Louisville – Two Killed In Solo Motorcycle Crash

Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident in Eastern Parkway.

Around four in the morning, Sunday, a motorcyclist with a passenger was speeding. Then, it left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver and the woman passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Glasgow – DUI Crash Injured Two People And A Child

A DUI crash occurred at the intersection of Hollow Road and Lick Branch, injuring two people and a child.

24-year-old Tyler Scott was driving with his passenger, 26-year-old Brooke Pierce, when he failed to stop at the intersection. This caused him to strike another car driven by 61-year-old Mark Reed who had a 4-year-old passenger.

Scott, Reed and the child were sent to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment. They were later discharged.

Also, Scott was charged for DUI and wanton endangerment.

Cadiz – Car Crash Left Driver Dead

An accident occurred on US-68, killing a driver.

20-year-old Kolton L. Bush was driving on US-68 when he left the road and went into a ravine.

He was wearing a seat belt during the incident, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Louisville – Man Shot And Killed At Intersection

A man was shot to death at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Lexington Road.

Around 2 a.m., Louisville Police found the victim who was believed to be in his 40’s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are currently searching for the suspect.

Paducah – Driver And Passenger Injured After Rollover Crash

Two people were injured after a single-vehicle rollover crash of Interstate 24.

Saturday morning, 19-year-old Dalton McNew was driving with 20-year-old Sidney Nichols. He fell asleep while driving, causing the vehicle to leave the road. When he woke up, he tried to regain control of his vehicle as it crossed both lanes of traffic. Then, the vehicle skidded and flipped, striking the guardrail, and stopping in an upright position.

When deputies arrived at the scene, the two were found outside the vehicle, walking around.

Both of them reported possible injuries and were sent to the hospital.

Louisville – Pedestrian Struck And Killed By Vehicle

A man was struck and killed by a vehicle as he was trying to cross Interstate 265.

9:30 p.m. Friday, 27-year-old Dylan Reaves was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver who hit him remained at the scene.
