A woman who died in a TARC van collision has been identified.

She was identified as 81-year-old Jewell Laster. She was a passenger in the TARC van that hit another vehicle on St. Andrews Church Road, around 6 pm Monday.

She was sent to University Hospital but died later.

A woman who was found dead after a house fire has been identified.

The fire occurred at a guest house on Saddle Ridge Road, 10 pm Friday.

She was identified as 79-year-old Louise Batchelor.

Columbia – Three Juveniles Injured In Head-On Collision

Three juveniles were injured in a head-on collision.

The incident happened on Fairground Street, on the Lindsay Wilson College, Sunday morning.

18-year-old Riley Baker was driving a Nissan Altima when it struck a tree head-on.

Baker and two passengers were sent to TJ Sampson Hospital to get treatment. A 17-year-old passenger was later airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital.

Investigation are ongoing.

Two women were sent to a hospital after a head-on vehicle collision.

The incident happened on Friday morning, in KY-121.

45-year-old Maria Williams swerved her car to avoid hitting a car, causing her to get into the oncoming lane and get hit by 38-year-old Angela Hoback’s vehicle head-on.

The two female drivers were sent to Murray-Calloway County Hospital to get treatment.

A man died and two others were injured after a vehicle collision.

The incident occurred in Mammoth Cave Street, Saturday evening.

27-year-old Jacob K. Riggs was driving a 2005 Scion when it went in the way of 28-year-old Ashley Vance’s 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Riggs died at the scene.

Meanwhile, Vance and her passenger, 40-year-old Bryon Logsdon, were sent to T.J. Samson Hospital for minor injuries.
