New Castle – Kentucky State Police Employee Dead After Car Crash

A Kentucky State Police employee died following a car accident.
The accident happened on Highway 146, Tuesday morning.
62-year-old Mary “Renee” McCoy was driving when she lost control of her vehicle, gone off the road, and hit a tree.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
McCoy had been a veteran in KSP for 20 years. She served as a Telecommunicator on November 1999. She then served as a Certified Driver’s Test Administrator to the KSP Drivers Testing Branch in 2001.
