Cummings was sentenced last week. He was also ordered to pay a fine of $400,000.

38-year old Ashley R. Dennis lost control of her 2003 Nissan Altima for unknown reasons. Then, it over-steered and flipped over, ejecting her.

A woman was charged after stabbing a man to death.

The incident happened on the night of July 30, at the Mill Townhouse Complex in Iron Loop Path.

Police found 36-year-old Mathew A. Turner was found dead on the sidewalk. He had a stab wound on his neck.

They charged Cassandra Carson with first-degree manslaughter in Turner’s death. Furthermore, she was found to be in violation of an emergency protective order.

Henderson – Teen Shot Another Dead, Injured Two Others

A teenager was arrested after shooting another teen dead and injuring two others.

The incident occurred at a banquet hall in Henderson on the night of July 27.

18-year-old Japaris J. Baker shot 18-year-old Jaiwaun Latrell Wadlington and two others during a fight. Wadlington was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, two were injured. One was in critical condition, while the other recovered.

Baker was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He is being held in the Henderson County Jail.

Moore was arrested on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs 1st offense, and Assault 1st degree.
