The incident happened at the intersection of Main Street and Limestone street, around 6 am.

The pickup truck moved due to the green light, but the driver did not notice the pedestrian. He then hit him at low speed.

The pedestrian was sent to an area hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Danville – Man Injured After Being Run Over By Own Vehicle

A man was injured after his own car struck him.

The incident happened around 12:25 pm Saturday.

73-year-old Robert Dragan was driving his truck when he stopped on the road to get something. He thought his truck was in park so he got off. However, it began to move backwards. He tried to get back in his truck to stop it. Unfortunately, he fell down, causing the vehicle to run him over.

Responders had to extricate him from the vehicle using jaws of life. They treated his leg, then flown him to University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.

The incident happened at the intersection of Preston Highway and Tower Road around 11:07 pm.

He was in a wheelchair and was hit by a vehicle traveling south.

He was sent to University Hospital but died due to his injuries.

Louisville – Teenager Injured By Gunshot

A teen suffered a gunshot wound after a shooting.

The incident happened around 8:20 pm Tuesday, at the intersection of 4th Street and Winkler Avenue.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

He was taken to University Hospital to get treatment.

Lexington – Man Arrested After Crash That Killed Pregnant Girlfriend

A man was arrested after a collision that killed his pregnant girlfriend.

The incident happened on Winchester Road in October 2018. 34-year-old Samuel Alex Turner was arrested over the weekend.

Turner’s vehicle hit another vehicle, leading to his girlfriend’s, 29-year-old Kayla McCoy, and her unborn child’s death.

He was indicted on counts of second-degree manslaughter, third-degree homicide, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, DUI and persistent felony offender in early October.

A teenager was injured after a shooting.

The incident happened at the intersection of Winchester Road and East 7th Street, after 4 pm Saturday.

The teen was shot from a light-colored SUV.

Two other teens, 18-year-old Dwayne Slaughter and 18-year-old Darrian Webb, died in UK Medical Center from gunshot wounds.

The incident happened around 10 pm Saturday at a home at 2636 Russellville Road.

The incident happened on October 17 around 9:40 pm, on KY 129.

63-year-old Randall Earl Langston was driving a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he ran off the road and hit an embankment. He was trying to avoid hitting a deer.

He was taken to a medical center, but he was also charged with DUI second offense with an aggravating circumstance, operating on a DUI suspended license and failure to maintain required insurance.
